Trip around the world!
There are lots options opening up to wanderlust travelers...one such opportunity is that offered by some airlines or air partners/groups that include "world trip" as a means of saving money to book one world trip itinerary that doesn't require a billion expensive "one way"tickets, nor does it require you to book round trip bringing you back to qhere you started before heading off on your next adventure! I believe that OneWorld travel partners even have prices given depending on the number of continents or the distance traveled in your trip, in order to better help you budget (though I believe they seemed a bit pricey for backpacker budgets unless this is your once-in-a-lifetime trip or you're rich). WikiHow has a nice little article with some planning steps for anyone interested in world trips, and I'd suggest checking it out if you're even considering it. Knowledge is power...and sometimes, it's money, too!

Work remotely, from home or abroad!
So you want to travel, but you need money to do it because you don't just want the typical 2 weeks, right? Don't worry, you're not alone, and not only are you not alone in your search, but you're also not alone in seeing value in remote work...and luckily some of the people who are with you are hiring! I found flexjobs.com a while back. They have full-time, part-time and temp positions that you can do remotely. Be sure to read the full deceptions, though, as some still require that you e located in a specific city or that you travel to their territory or meetings at regular intervals and they will require more stability on your part. All in all there is a decent range d opportunities and it's worth checking out if you're at all interested in working from home, or from abroad!

Study Internationally...FREE!
So you want to go to college? AND you want to travel internationally? And you want to do it for FREE?
I may have called you crazy until just recently when German universities dropped tuition for all students...and not just German students.
German politicians seem to actually have their priorities straight: putting youth, education, and the environment as their main priorities, so it's no surprise that the placement of fees on students a few years back would have some backfire...and the politicians, themselves, are the ones who helped to enact the change to ensure that all young men and women have access to a higher education, despite their backgrounds. So, if you want to study abroad for free...start learning German and get going, my friends! OR, take a look and see if you can find access to any of their English language programs, as those are also a popular opportunity.

NJ waterfront
While I'll admit that the armpit of America is not the first place I'd usually recommend for anything much less near any body of water...here I am recommending P13R (pier 13) in Hoboken.
You'll have to check out their website for seasonal hours because it's an outdoor venue with a gorgeous view of NY (because anyone who lives in the area knows the best views of the big apple are from outside of it)!!
Drinks are reasonably priced and they have a changing assortment of beers on tap and in cans as well as a rotating list of mixed drinks. It's busy on a hot summer day for sure so I'd say get there early if you want a table or bench otherwise you're welcome to bring beach blankets or chairs from home for guaranteed seats! They also have a variety of food trucks to fill you up (the pizza is EXCELLENT and the frozen banana treats will surprise you)!
Come on your own, with friends or family...even your dog (there's a dog park right off the pier for pet relief)!
